A home is the biggest investment most people make in their lifetimes.
Since there can be serious flaws even in homes that appear to be in immaculate
condition. Conducting a comprehensive home inspection with us can potentially
save you money, educate you on the workings of your new home and provide you
with some much needed peace of mind. We strongly encourage you to accompany us
during the inspection of your new home. This gives you a chance to ask
questions and become familiar with the systems of the home. Our goal is to
discover, educate and advise you of our findings, specifically those that may
affect your purchase decision.
The
New Construction Inspection:
This inspection is an objective evaluation of the physical structure of
the home along with a functional check of all its major systems and appliances.
For a relatively small cost, a professional inspection of your new dream home
can pay big dividends in peace of mind and getting any problems identified and
corrected before they become an unpleasant surprise.
If you are
selling a home, getting a home inspection prior to listing your home means you
can identify problems early. Then you can either correct them or present them
as is, helping to assure that the first offer you accept can move quickly and
smoothly to closing without delays or costly surprises.
The
Final Walk Through Inspection:
This inspection is becoming
more common due to the fact that many times you wont close on your new home for
months after the initial inspection. It has been designed to help re-acquaint
you with your new home and to verify that no major changes have occurred since
the initial inspection. The inspection typically takes less then an hour and
should be done just prior to your closing.
Wood
Destroying Insect Survey:
This service is
included with every comprehensive home inspection, for no additional fee.
Septic
Dye Testing:
A septic dye test
can be performed on homes that are connected to a private waste system at no
additional charge. However, it should be noted that although this test is an
accepted standard, it is a non-conclusive test and the results do not
imply or suggest the system is in good working order. A thorough examination of
the entire system, including the tank, distribution system and leaching fields
by a qualified septic contractor is advised in order to evaluate the true working
condition of the system.
